As we move quickly into 2018, we hope that you all enjoyed the holiday season and time with family. The volunteers of GVFRS had a busy end to 2017, responding to and increased number of calls for service the last 2 weeks of December:

December 24 – 30, 2017:

12 Motor Vehicle Collisions
2 Structure Fires
2 Fire Alarms

1 Mutual Aid to Abingdon for a structure fire

We ended the year with a total of 4341 calls for 2017. That is an increase of 244 calls from 2016.

2018 has proven to busy as well, as we continue to respond to a increased number of calls:
