Eagle Point Plantation Fire

On Friday, August 2nd, 2002, GVFRS responded to a structure fire in the Naxera section of Gloucester near Eagle Point Plantation.  Fire was already showing through the roof when the first units arrived.

Mutual aid was called in from surrounding communities to assist in the mid 90 degree weather. 

Fire was contained to the third floor and a small section of the second floor.
