On April 27, 2015 at approximately 2:25pm Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc. responded to the report of a possible brush fire and a person that had been burned in the Holly Beach area. Upon arrival, responders found the fire to be out, and one male with a small amount of second degree burns. The patient was transported by GVFRS to a landing zone that was established nearby. LifeEvac transported the patient to MCV. One engine responded initially to the scene of the possible fire, however once it was determined there was no active fire was diverted to establish the landing zone.
