Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc ran the following calls between April 26 and May 2, 2015:

On April 29, 2015 at approximately 11:35am Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc responded to a report of a boat on fire on Spring Hill Farm Rd. Upon arrival, one boat on a trailer was noted to be on fire, and one male, who had been working on the boat, sustained some burns. GVFRS units extinguished the fire, and the patient was transported to Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. The boat was a total loss, and there was some heat damage to the siding of a structure the boat was near. GVFRS responded two engines, one ambulance, and approximately 10 members. Captain Gordon Townsend was in command.
