Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc responded to the following calls:
April 5 – 11:

1 Mutual Aid to AVFR for a Structure Fire
1 Boater Emergency
1 Smoke Investigation
1 Utility Pole Fire
On April 7, 2015 at approximately 2:55pm Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc responded to a report of a large chicken coop on fire on Waverly Ln. Upon arrival of the first arriving units a small outbuilding was found to be on fire. Members were able to quickly extinguish the fire, which had also damaged a nearby fence. There were no injuries reported, and the fire was called in by a neighbor. GVFRS responded three engines, one ambulance, and approximately 12 members responded.
