Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc. responded to the following calls:
Feb 23 – March 1

1 Motor Vehicle Collision
2 Brush Fires
2 Public Assists
1 Fire Alarm
1 Structure Fire
1 Mutual aid to Lower King and Queen Vol Fire Dept for a vehicle fire
At approximately 10am on February 25, 2014 Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc. responded to a report of a structure fire in the 15000 block of George Washington Memorial Highway. Upon arrival of the first responding members, the fire that had originated in the breaker box was found to have been extinguished by an employee using a fire extinguisher. With the fire having been extinguished, no fire spread found, and no injuries on scene, all additional personnel and apparatus were cancelled. There were many members who responded to the call, however only 1 engine and 6 members were required on scene.
