White Oak Structure FireOn February 17, 2018 GVFRS responded to a structure fire on White Oak Dr after heavy smoke was noted coming from the area. The first arriving units found a barn with heavy that was partially collapsed, and all animals out of the structure. Units were on scene for just over two and half hours conducting fire suppression and overhaul operations. Four engines, one tanker, one rescue truck, one medic unit, and approximately twenty members responded to the fire. The cause has not been determined at this time. Chief JD Clements was in command.
